To be shown over the Easter weekend on BBC1.

I'm glad they will be showing something relevant this Easter, not just re-runs and old movies.

Hear! Hear!

I've been meaning to ask you if you want to go to church together on Easter Sunday.

I was thinking that. I could come and stay on Saturday night.

Something to talk about and because it just came to mind and I'd forget if I left it.

I know it's more pop culture, but I am still crazy about Jesus Christ Superstar. I'm listening to the original album right now, and I will try to make a point of watching both movies this weekend. Last year I saw Ted Neeley perform it on stage (in his 'farewell tour'; he is getting quite old for the part!), and I had seen Neeley and Carl Anderson perform it a decade or more back, as well as the Broadway production (come to Boston) in the 70's.

I watched it on Catch-Up TV last night and have to say it's definately lacking something. I agree Jesus of Nazareth was much better.

Haven't listened to Jesus Christ Superstar in years, Juana. That would really bring back memories. Very Happy

Probably one of the most powerful moments in musical theatre, you really feel that struggle wether you want to or not.

Was it Gethsemane? That's my favorite out of the entire opera.

I managed to fit in both movies over the weekend, so I got to see both Ted Neeley and Glen Carter singing it! As well as hearing Ian Gillian on the original album.
