Well that would probably quicken the pulse of your average Essex man, although my ex is a Mercedes man through and through.

I can guarantee that he has at least 20 or more Mercs in various states of decompositin around his property. When I was still living with him there was a Daimler parked in the front drive that had been there for about 3 years, untouched. The last time I noticed it, it hadn't moved and looked as though it was embedding itself in the drive. We've been separated for 8 years and as far as I know it's still there, covered in bird shit.

It won't be worth it. If the head is shot, its going to cost more than the car is worth. You can get a drivable XJ-S for a thousand upwards, and a reasonable one for 4 or 5.

There was a mercedes for sale at the car boot sale I went to yesterday...that was near Billericay. The man wanted £250 for it, but as I walked past a couple of Travellers had haggled him down to £50...but they they were arguing for £25.

Yup. I can't resist it.. my eyes go all wide when I see the chance of a car to be snapped up. I've improved lots recently though, and I only keep 2 here now for myself.
