Since starting my new job I have had to travel through central London on several occasions and not once has it been without incident as far as the trains are concerned.

This news must sink the hearts of all commuters. I certainly wouldn't want to commute every day!

public transport in london is abysmal. Done it for 6 years and more often than not there'd be problems. You do get used to it in the end, but it's certainly not something you miss once you don't have to do it any more.

oh it does! All it takes is one LU line to be down and the rest get hammered because people use the other already overloaded lines and buses instead. The Olympics are going to be interesting in this respect.

I see it was called off though, so that was good news for everybody using them!

Going by the chaos and overcrowding that I have come across whenever I make a foray into the great metropolis... will we notice any difference? Shocked
