Different!
Not being a Beatles fan I'm afraid I was rather ambivalent about it. _________________ Girls are like phones. We love to be held and talked to, but if you press the wrong button you'll be disconnected! |

I'm not a Beatles fan myself, but this song is one of my favorites in their répertoire. I like Noa and Mira Awad's interpretation, and the fact that they are both Israeli, one a Jew and the other an Arab born to a Palestinian father, makes their cover even more symbolic. (And a touch of optimism from time to time is a welcome gust of fresh air.) _________________ Sit on the banks of the river and wait for the corpse of your enemy. - Indian proverb. |

I agree, adrien
I didn't know anything about the artists at all. _________________ Girls are like phones. We love to be held and talked to, but if you press the wrong button you'll be disconnected! |
