An animal behaviorist has developed a personality test for cats, called Feline-ality. There's a similar one for dogs, Canine-ality.

Kind of like a dating service, only matching up pets with owners/families.

I don't know, though. Cats do not do anything on command, and they may react one way when tested one day, and a completely different way the next.
But I was intrigued, and I found the descriptions of the nine categories:

Khan and Romeo could not be more unalike - they are at the two extremes. I would say that Khan is a Private Investigator - he stays hidden a lot! On the other hand, Romeo would be the Leader of the Band - always has to be involved in everything I do, and demanding attention. And yet, opposites clearly attract, as they are still the best of buddies.
If you have a cat or cats, what types do you have? (I think you can find the dogs on the same website.) |

Bobby is a combination of Love Bug and Personal Assistant. He positively demands attention and if he doesn't feel you're paying him enough he'll insist on 'helping' you with everything you do.

| Sounds like Romeo! I think his favorite chore to help me with is changing the sheets. First, we have to have tug of war as I try to remove them, and then he gets in the middle of the bed so he ends up under the fresh ones! |

My Winston is a Love bug. I hate to say this but at times he is almost too clingy..... and as I nurse and pet him I have to remind myself why he is this way.
On the other hand Sophie is a side kick, it's a complete honor to get her attention .... smart lil' girl !!!!
