Today is Earth Day. In honor of the day, I dug out some buttons I had bought way back for the first Earth Day (in 1970 or 1971, I think), and am wearing 'Earth First' on my lapel (the other one says 'Ecology Now').
With the below link, you can access a government site that has a couple of image collections of 'Earth as Art' - aesthetically interesting images of features taken from satellites. Some are really beautiful!

| Gaia watered the lawn for us last night complete with the thunder and lightning effects thrown in for good measure. |

I love thunder storms. Pity we don't get many of them in my neck of the woods. |

Thunderstorms terrify me.
As a child I used to hide under the dining table until it stopped. Even now I flinch with every thunderclap. _________________ Girls are like phones. We love to be held and talked to, but if you press the wrong button you'll be disconnected! |

| I love a good rip roaring thunderstorm. Barley, our Golden Retriever loved them too. He fast figured out when he saw the lightening, the thunder came soon after, and he would run out into the rain barking his fool head off!! |

| Me too ... I love thunderstorms ..... but when they turn into a tornado warning, it kinda crimps the mood. |
